BRANDON PROVOST: Brandon has played both professionally in Europe and on an NBA D-League team after a stellar college basketball career at the University of Texas-Pan American. During his college career, Brandon scored 1,200 points and earned All-Great West Conference First Team honors as a senior. During his senior season at Seven Lakes, Brandon Provost was named a First Team All-District player.
PRINCETON ONWAS: Princeton was drafted by the Westchester Knicks of the G-League on after playing professionally in Australia for the Brisbane Capitals. At Seven Lakes, he was the district’s Defensive Player of the Year two years in a row, as well as a two-time First Team All-District Player. Princeton earned All-Region honors at Navarro Junior College and played as a key sub at the University of Utah before transferring to San Jose State where he flourished in his new role as starting PG.
JAYLON JONES: Jaylon is the Spartans’ All-Time Leading Scorer (1507) and played basketball at Coastal Bend Junior College. At Seven Lakes, Jaylon helped the Spartans to back to back 33 win seasons and two regional appearances. He was a First Team All-District player for three years and the Offensive Player of the Year one year.
ATIF RUSSELL: Atif finished his playing career at Houston Baptist University after playing and graduating from Pepperdine University. At Seven Lakes, he was a two-time All-District First Team player helping the Spartans to back to back 33 win seasons and two regional appearances.
TREY PINKNEY: Trey was a four-year starting point guard for the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks where he was the All-time leader in wins with 109 wins. During his time at SFA, Trey helped transform the Lumberjack Basketball program into not only a Southland Conference powerhouse but a legitimate NCAA conference tournament contender. Trey is the Spartans’ All-Time Leader in charges taken, assists, and steals and was a four-time First-Team All-District selection. He was also All-Region 2009-2010, 2010-2011, and district Defensive POY in 2011-2012. Trey helped lead his teams to the Regional Tournament his Junior and Senior year.
ERICK ROBERSON: Eric finished his career at LeTourneau University. At Seven Lakes, Erick was a two-time All-District First Team player helping the Spartans to back to back 33 win seasons and two regional appearances. Erick holds the career record for blocks and rebounds.
RYAN MCCLURG: After graduating in ’13, Ryan McClurg went to the University of Texas-Austin as a walk-on, earning a scholarship for his senior year. Ryan was the District Player of the Year as a senior at Seven Lakes and led his teams to 3 district titles as a player in the program, including a 32-5 record his senior year.
KENNY DESROSIERS: After graduating in ’13, Kenny played basketball at Western Technical College in Minnesota. Kenny, a tenacious defender, was the starting PG his senior year on the district-champion Varsity and led teams to 3 district titles as a Spartan.
ROBBY BYRNE: After graduating in ‘13, Robby played basketball at Occidental College in California. Robby was Honorable Mention All-District as a senior and he won three district championships in his career as a Spartan.
JEFF MARTIN: Jeff Martin finished his college career as the MVP of the ASC East and two-time 1st Team All-Conference player at LeTourneau University. He played for two years at Murray State University before transferring to LeTourneau. As a senior, Jeff was a First-Team All-District selection and a captain who helped lead the team to 32 wins.
ALEC COLHOFF: Alec played basketball at LeTourneau University. His junior and senior year he was named 1st team All-ASC East. He also set the LETU record for 3-point FG with 82. His sophomore year he was named 2nd Team All-Conference player. As a senior at Seven Lakes, he was a First-Team All-District selection and a captain who helped lead the team to 32 wins.
JAKE TERRY: Jake Terry played basketball at Missouri Baptist University. During his senior year as a Spartan, Jake was a First Team All-District player and he led the team to a Regional Quarterfinals berth in 2014.
KING TURNBULL: King Turnbull, a 2014 graduate, is playing basketball at Concordia University for the Tornados. As the starting point guard for the Spartans, he led the Varsity squad to a 28 win season, a 1st place district championship, and a Regional Quarterfinals berth. King played on Varsity for two seasons and was First Team All-District his senior season.
KAMERON MCGUSTY: Kameron finished at the University of Miami after transferring from Oklahoma University. While he was at Miami Kam was named 1st team All ACC and at OU he was named as an All-Big 12 Honorable mention and a member of the Big 12 All-Newcomer Team. As a Junior, he was 1st Team All-District and The District Offensive Player of the Year. Kam had a breakout season his sophomore year earning 1st Team All-District, ALL-Region and being voted the District MVP. Kameron is only the fourth player in Spartan history to have 1,000 points in his career.
KYLE HOWARD: Kyle Howard, a 2016 Graduate, is played 4 years of basketball at Southwestern University in Georgetown Texas. As the starting point guard for the Spartans the last two seasons, Kyle has helped lead his team to two playoff runs including an Area Championship his Junior year. Kyle was a 1st Team All-District player his senior year and an Academic All-District player his Junior and Senior year.
NYGAL RUSSELL: Nygal finished his career at Towson University after playing and graduating from Southeastern Missouri University. As a Sophomore Nygal was a solid contributor off the bench and made Honorable Mention All-District. His Junior year he averaged 18 points, 11 rebounds, two assists and two steals for the Spartans and was a first-team All-District player and led his team to the playoffs.
DARIUS ALFORD: After graduating in 2018, Darius Alford played college basketball at the University of Texas at Tyler. Darius was an ALL ASC player of the week multiple times. Darius also lead his team in scoring with 18.6 PPG. Darius was a scoring machine at Seven Lakes. He holds five records as a result of his hard work and dedication. Most points in a game (49), Most points in a season (734), Most 3's in a game (11), Most 3's in a season (95), and most 3's in a career (149). Darius also became the fifth person in Spartan history to score 1000 points in his career. Darius was a 1st Team All-District player his Junior and Senior year.
ELIJAH MORAROS: Elijah Moraros, a 2022 Graduate is playing basketball at Wayland Baptist University in Plainview Texas.
