Seven Lakes High School Graduate 2014

Austin, a SLHS graduate of 2014, sadly passed away in January of 2019.  Austin was a three-year Spartan basketball player and he had a profound impact beyond the court as a friend, brother, and son.  Austin was such a great friend and teammate because he was always 100% about the team and the brotherhood.  His teammates and coaches say what made him stand out was his loyalty, honesty, grit, and passion for life.  

Austin was a basketball coach’s dream.  He practiced hard all of the time, he never made excuses, he gave every ounce of effort that he could muster every game, and he never complained.  Every single conversation coaches had with Austin over those three years always ended with “Yessir Coach, I got you Coach” and then he’d flash his signature smile and jog off with his contagious laughter.  

Because Austin always bought into his teammates and the program, Austin won three district championships in three years, he earned one undefeated season as a sophomore and won 72 total games in three years as a Spartan basketball player.
